Entrance that's facing the street

While walking around Myeong-dong, you might want to stop by somewhere for a cup of coffee, take a little break before continuing with your shopping.

TEA'US is a coffee place opened by Korean actor 권상우 (Kwon Sang Woo). You might know him from dramas like 'Stairways to Heaven' and 'Cinderella Man'.

As my Mum is a total fan of his, we decided to bring her over to TEA'US.

TEA'US situated right beside Exit number 6 of Myeong-dong station.

You'll see lots of giant posters of Kwon Sang Woo on the building on your right when you came out of the exit. That's where TEA'US is! You shouldn't have much problem finding it.

I would say that the design of that place is simple and  minimalist. The environment felt relaxing and soothing even though you're actually on the busy streets of Myeong-dong. It's pretty spacious too.

Kwon Sang Woo's photos are hang on every wall and every corner of the cafe but in a humble way (That's what I felt).

I did not try any of the coffee, as I'm not a coffee person myself. My sister got a Mocha and I did not get any feedback from her. So I thought it should have tasted like any regular Mocha?

Ordering and Collection Counter

I got myself a Mr TEA'US Tea. It seems like a signature drink there. It has a hint of peppermint, smells good, but it's rather tasteless. I'll only say that it tasted refreshing. But I don't think I'll buy this drink again. It's just not fantastic to me.

And of course there are Kwon Sang Woo merchandises for sale. Postcards and Mugs with Kwon Sang Woo's face on it.

Mailbox for Fan mails

You might spot a Red Letterbox somewhere in the middle of the cafe. It's for fans to drop their fan mails, and of course these mails are for Kwon Sang Woo. But how often will he collect them, I've no idea.

Anyway, we got my Mum to drop a mail for him. It took a while for us to persuade her as she found it embarrassing. But looking through all the photos I took during this trip, I felt that my Mum looked the happiness when she's at TEA'US.

- Take Subway and alight at Myeong-dong Station.

- Exit Myeong-dong Station from Exit #6. 

- TEA'US will be on your right hand side of the street.
