Now I'm listening to his 1st album 'Only You' while I'm typing this post (Been looking for this album for a while, and now I have it with his autograph!)...
It's really exciting for me to get to see him in person and most importantly hear him sing and perform live!
I would say that this is the best performance out of all that I've seen at Esplanade's Recital Studio (though I haven't been to a lot, 2nd on my ranking list is Crowd Lu 盧廣仲).
And I'm in David Choi's video!!! Hahaha!!! Yes, I'm in the crowd! Try spotting me in the video!
The whole concert is simply filled with:
- 'Lar's randomly put at the end of every sentence... (as a Singaporean, I would say that it's used grammatically incorrectly... Singlish-wise... lol!)
- Ice Mountain (part of rule breaking)
- Rule breaking (was thankful that I decided to bring my camera, cos we broke some Esplanade rules XP)
- Tweeting (@davidchoimusic ice mountain)
- Laughter
- Awkward moments
- And of course great music!
Downside, David said he got a sore throat this morning...
I could hear his voice getting huskier as the performance go on, especially when he sang the last song for the night 'By my side'...
Being a vocalist, I feel the pain when I hear voices like that...
Take care David! You've more shows coming up!
The show was awesome! Enjoyed myself so much.
Converted my sister to his fan after bringing her with me to this show.
She's determine to master playing the bar chords.
It's not easy to grab everyone's attention for 2 hours with just your voice and a guitar. It's mad skills!
Great show! We're inspired!
